What is Sìth?
'Sìth' is Scottish Gaelic for 'peace'.
'Sìth' is also going to be a cafe in the West End of Glasgow.
You pronounce it "shee".
Where should we start? Well, basically, we are two women who want to set up a unique cafe in Glasgow. Somewhere were you can hang out, knit, surf the web, play chess, chat and buy the odd gift - whilst eating cake.
It will be a community arts, music and stuff space with great coffee and good food.
The journey has just begun...
With an excellent menu, welcoming atmosphere and community vibe, the café will also have an exclusive line of gifts, artwork and things to treat yourself with!
Looking for somewhere to sit quietly, read, knit, surf the web or meet up with friends? Sìth will be the place.
Breakfasts will be so good, any hangover will be instantly forgotten...
Evenings will feature language classes, open mic nights, knitting lessons, good food and lots of laughter.
Sìth will be based in rented premises on Dumbarton Road, and will be open from 10am - 10pm 7 days a week.
